Groom-to-be faces backlash over ‘jealous’ response to his fiancée’s bridal

< img src =""> A groom-to-be can’t get over the fact that his fiancée just has male pals and therefore, no house maids of honor.

He asked Reddit’s “Am I the A ******” forum to weigh in. He hails from a traditional family who his fiancée’s male buddies. She, however, doesn’t think it’s a big deal to have finest males at her wedding event rather of bridesmaids. To get back at her, the groom invited his ex-girlfriend to the wedding event.

“I recently proposed to my sweetheart Hanna,” he wrote. “As we’re organizing the bridal celebration, the concern showed up that Hanna doesn’t have any close sweethearts. Her buddies are all people. My papa already thinks Hanna’s relationship with her male buddy is unsuitable and she should not be so close to another guy when she remains in a long-lasting relationship. I said she must select some girls as bridesmaids instead. Hanna declined, saying she’s not close enough to any ladies. I recommended she could ask her 2 sis, which upset her because she has actually been no contact with her family for about 10 years. I kept trying to describe why it made me uneasy, but she simply wouldn’t listen. She said it was unreasonable and claims there is no chance Jack is romantically thinking about her. He says he’s gay.”

He refused to listen to Hanna and then things drew out of control.

“In the end, I stated that fine, she might have a guy in her side of the celebration, but only if I could have a woman in my side,” he described. “Well, Hanna stated that was fine and that she didn’t mind. That quickly altered when I said who I wanted to invite; my ex-girlfriend Sasha. I said that it was hypocritical for Hanna to get envious of me desiring a female friend there when she desires her male buddy to be there. She stated it is various, however I think it’s the same thing if not worse on her end. (Sasha doesn’t have a problem with Hanna but I think her friend doesn’t seem to like me, even if he’s never ever said outright.) She raised how my parents keep saying they desire me to return with Sasha, which isn’t even my fault! I stated either Jack goes and she asks her siblings to be bridesmaids or I get to have Sasha at the wedding party. Hanna isn’t talking with me now.”

Reddit users believed the groom’s habits was immature.

“You’re arguing that being envious of a man who has never ever dated your fiancée and, considering his sexuality, never ever will, is just as affordable as being envious of a woman who you dated for 7 years,” somebody commented.

“You must not be getting married,” another stated.

“Such a ludicrous demand,” a user composed.
