Amarinder Singh may release political celebration on Wednesday

Previous Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh might announce the launch of his own political celebration on Wednesday.

A sign in this regard began Tuesday when his media advisor Raveen Thukral extended a welcome to the media for Amarinder Singh’s press briefing in Chandigarh.

Officially saying goodbye to the Congress which made him the Chief Minister of Punjab twice and the state celebration president thrice, an ‘upset’ Amarinder last week stated that he would soon announce the launch of his own political party to serve the interests of individuals, consisting of the farmers who have actually been fighting for their rights for over a year now.

The former chief minister said he is hopeful of a seat-sharing arrangement with the BJP for next year’s Assembly elections in the state, if the farmers’ issues are dealt with in their interest.

Without mincing words, Amarinder included that he would not rest till he could secure the future of his people and his state.
