Colonel Allen West Resigns As Chair Of Texas Republican Celebration

Colonel Allen West has suddenly resigned from his position as chair of the Texas Republican party, making some individuals question if he is preparing to run for workplace once again.

He belonged to your house of Representatives a few years back as part of the Tea Party wave that was swept into office in 2010.

Previous Florida congressman and retired Army Lt. Col. Allen West is stepping down as chair of the Texas Republican Celebration, sparking reports that he is looking at another run for workplace.

The Texas GOP released a statement Friday morning announcing that West “sent his irrevocable resignation to the officials’ conference” and “will stay at the helm of the Texas GOP till a new Chairman can be picked on July 11th at an undetermined area currently.”

The celebration wrote that West “expressed his modest gratitude and specified that ‘it has been my distinct honor to serve as Chairman of the Republican Politician Party of Texas. I pray Godspeed for this governing body.'”

“Lt. Col. Allen West will take this chance to prayerfully review a brand-new chapter in his currently distinguished career,” the news release went on to say.

West discussed Twitter:

Some are hypothesizing that he may be preparing to challenge Guv Greg Abbott.

Abbott was just backed by Trump so that would not make much sense.
