HBO Announces ‘Game of Thrones’ Month-Long Iron Anniversary Celebration

Video game of Thrones reaches another milestone: On April 17, the dream series commemorates 10 years because its launching, and HBO is marking the celebration with a month-long Iron Anniversary occasion starting April 5.

The drama, based upon George R.R. Martin’s A Tune of Ice and Fire book series, turned into one of the most acclaimed series of perpetuity. Now, HBO is bringing viewers back to Westeros for the Iron Anniversary, with consists of a binge-watching marathon, a cause-driven 73-hour “MaraThrone,” and more.On HBO’s GoT Spotlight Page, you’ll find what the banner is calling “spoiler-laden curations featuring easter eggs for pass away tough fans,” plus over 150 videos of behind-the-scenes bonus, cast interviews, clips and trailers– much of which have never been readily available on the streaming platform prior to.

And it doubles as a fundraising event, as cast members will look for contributions to among 10 causes. In addition, the banner is providing different ways for viewers to “experience” the binge through “routes” that can send you off in different instructions, e.g., following the storyline of the Mom of Dragons, or Arya’s journey to Braavos.Of course the celebration wishes to whet cravings for GoT prequel House of the Dragon, slated to start production this year.
